coming clean

8 Oct

I’m coming clean, for the following reasons:

  1. The charade is getting old
  2. People are beginning to smell all the rats
  3. Too many people know who I be and it’s simply a matter of time before some of them start tripping
  4. The experiment has dragged on for too long
  5. And lastly, in recent days, a few who know have spoken about how good the Darkness series is, and despite it being about 75% fiction, in order to properly complete it, I need to come clean.

To everyone that suspected, and you Princess, for insisting just hard enough, despite my frantic and desperate objections and denials; you were all right.

So I’m coming clean.

I am the Dark Knight.

And now, introducing my close friend and former business partner, freshly married, and straight from the honeymoon, taking blogspace by (quiet) storm. I give you, The Master’s Apprentice.

Show the brother some love!

I knew it! I knew it!

The type of writing. The working hours. The same busy schedules. The shared love of restauranting and quotes from sci-fi movie classics…

But you’ll always be two people to me.

@ mamapete, lol, I thought people would’ve noticed the slip-ups I’ve been making, and boy are they many.

And yeah, it’s just the revelation that changes, there will always be the Dark Knight and The Rogue King.

    But it’s tight!!

By the way, I knew all a long.

I always thought DK was Sourav…so now that leaves Emrys.

  12. Solomon King 09. Oct, 2008 at 11:03 pm #

Sourav??? What in the world is that?

And stop lying mbu you knew.

  13. Princess 10. Oct, 2008 at 12:35 am #

Rogue king is what DK was in the beginning (early posts). He kinda got lost as the audience grew, no?
Anywho, I likes both of you. :D

  14. The Apprentice 10. Oct, 2008 at 11:10 am #

Peeps,as the man clearly said, there are two sides to any individual. The Light and The Dark, always in a constant battle for supremacy. My guess is, the Light side is winning for now :)

But dude remember, you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

i had no clue… like DK a lot so now will be paying a lot of attention to you…

  20. The Emrys 10. Oct, 2008 at 12:37 pm #

    damn

  21. Solomon King 10. Oct, 2008 at 3:18 pm #

@princess: Nope, DK was DK. Like I said, an experiment in alternate parallel universes that exist purely within warped minds, which worked out very nicely, and thus will continue unabated.

@The Apprentice. Dude, I plan to pursue both the light and the dark, the hero and the villain.

@Sybella, to quote Scar: “Oh how I tremble with fear”

@B2B, awaiting your confessions with bated breath. And the Rogue Damsel is still nowhere to be seen.

@Carlo… shhhh… stop spilling our “O” secrets already.

@lulu, three words: tall, dark, handsome. Also, Rogue King is truth. As for DK, there is truth in the fiction, and fiction in the truth. The journey of discovery is a beautiful one, no?

@Emrys, sorry mate, t’was a hard decision, but it had to be made *evil grin*
