8 pounds of randomness

1. My siblings are aight. Went to check them out at school. It wasn’t their visiting day so there was a bit of drama at the gate. Let’s just say matrons and gate-keepers are the bane of education in Uganda. But they do a damned efficient job!

2. The Home & Auto Show wasn’t all that. I went for the rides and came back disappointed. I think they should let some baloodi showcase their rides just to draw crowds. Especially to draw people like me who are not about to take out five year loans to buy a ride that will cost twice the price of the loan repayment monthly in maintenance, insurance, service, fuel, tax, etc. Did I rant too much? My bad. I just went to ogle at cars.

3. We cooked. Can you imagine that? Well, my roomie cooked while I sorted the rice (yeah, the dude bought some silly kiwani rice) and cut the veggies. The food wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t anything to write to Grandma about either…

4. Deal or No Deal rocked! I haven’t seen someone so foolhardy! The dame walked away with 120,000 pounds!! (where the heck is the pound symbol when you need it!)

5. She’s online again. Been way too long since we talked. Hi you!

6. Sleep calls. Another week, another step, another legend in the making.

7. I think I found the most profound offtopic yet. See below.

      Well it IS part of the cooking process. And I’m a mean rice sorter and veggie cutter. Spend half the time looking at the TV.
